Thea is 9 months old today!

Dear Thea,

Happy nine month birthday!! Your daddy and I are so happy to have you in our lives. You're the best thing that ever happened to us, and every day with you is so much fun.

You've grown so much in the last nine months. You have two teeth (bottom front), can sit up and crawl like a champ, and can pull yourself up and walk if you're holding on to something. Everyone says how remarkable that is. You're so advanced for your age!

Your favorite foods are avocado and Cheerios. You sleep pretty well, but it might be a while before you sleep the whole night through every night. You love playing with the cats, Carrie Fisher and Jasper, but first you have to catch them!

Everyone who knows you loves you. You're sweet, good natured, and extremely cute. Your aunt Heather wanted to steal you this weekend when she was visiting, but Daddy and I wouldn't let her take you.

Thea with William and Sara

William is my cousin and Sara is his girlfriend. We were down in Mississippi visiting my grandmother, whom Thea is partially named for. (Nene's middle name is Theodoros.)

Thea crawls like the wind

Here Heather and Amy took Thea to Target and put barrettes in her hair in exchange for playing with toys. She did not like it.
