Birthday in New Jersey

We were supposed to be in New Jersey for my birthday, but got snowed in. So this is the week after our birthday. It was cool. We got to hang out with Amy's family.



And Thea got to hang out with her beach cousins, Nicki and Jackie. Jackie and Thea are only a couple months apart in age.

Thea is 13 months old

Hi, sweetheart,

You're thirteen months old today! It's been a great month. At daycare, you transitioned from the infant room to the toddler room, several months ahead of schedule. Everyone thought you were too advanced to be with the babies already. You're walking like a champ, and have even started running! You can say a few words, but your favorite word right now is "No!"

You have four teeth right now, but it looks like another two are imminent, and maybe two more right after that. Your favorite food is pizza. You can eat a whole big piece all by yourself (if we cut it up for you, of course). You also like broccoli, but you hate onions.

You've already learned where your nose, eyes, and mouth are, and you think it's fun to play with Mommy and Daddy's eyelashes. You're getting more and more independent every day.
