SO.... The trees in my yard (in an undisclosed location) are gorgeous old japanese maples. I love them.

Nice. That's a huge tree, it must be ancient. I really like the up-close picture of leaves, they have this waxy artificial look to them and the red/blue contrast is great. I love leaf pictures (I have a problem).
The leaves have turned several shades darker, too. I keep trying to capture the color, but I think it's one of those things where I'm just going to have to remember it without photographic evidence.
