Liam is 2 months old today

Hey, little man!

We are so excited today because you had your 2-month checkup at the doctor, and you weigh 13.5 pounds. That means you've gained over 4 pounds since you were born. That may not sound like a lot, but for a 2-month-old baby it is. The doctor said you are healthy and we know that you are a happy boy, so it was a good checkup. The bad part was you had to have some shots. They hurt and you cried, but not too much.

You are making lots of baby noises now. You smile and even laugh a little, and you try to mimic Daddy and Mommy when we say "Hah-Ghu."

You are also starting to sleep more at night, which allows Mommy and Daddy to sleep more, too, so we are very glad about that.

We all love you very much. Just tonight, Thea was helping us give you a bath, and she was really enjoying how cute you are. She loves to hold you and give you kisses, and she talks about you all the time.

The doctor who delivered the kids

Here's Liam with Dr. Charles Hill, the doc who rocks.



He delivered both kids, and could not have been kinder. Both times as he was checking me out of the hospital, he took my hand in his and said, very sincerely, "Thank you for allowing me to be part of this experience. It's been my honor and my privilege." I'm sure he says that to all the girls, but it meant a lot to me.
