Doctor Ruth is so full of mystery, and evidently mayhem as well. and she helps monkeys to spell words on Between the Lions too.
i love texas hold 'em. can't play for beans, but i have a good time on the free online tournaments where i watch people with far too much testosterone or far too little sense bet like fools.
my favorite poker guy is phil negreanu, though. he's funny as hell. just have to keep the husband from calling him "my boyfriend." though i always have a soft spot for the bookish-looking weanies, i suppose ;-)
oops. i mean daniel negreanu. i just made him the bastard progeny of phil hellmuth, who i don't like.

The Doctor Ruth thing reminds me of Julia Child (she worked for the OSS before she became a TV cook). I think it's so cool when people mange to have two (or more) wildly different lives crammed into one.
