There's a lovely photo essay on Time.com, "What the World Eats." Great photos, and very interesting. This is probably not too far from how my family eats:

Wow, what a cool photoessay. I was surprised by the similarities -- it looks like Ecuador, Mongolia, and Chad are the only countries where Coke is not a staple!
Funny that the coke-aholic would notice that! Could you believe how much coke the family in Mexico drank? Wow.
