Todd starts a new job today. Yay! But I had to get the kids out the door to daycare partially by myself on very little sleep. Boo. I don't know what we're going to do about Liam's sleep, or lack thereof. Crying it out doesn't seem like a good solution, because he barfs if he gets too upset. On the other hand, I'm about to lose my mother-freaking mind. What to do, what to do....

Molly had a fun job-related meme on her blog.

You mean you can't be a Gunsmith and a Taxidermist?

I thought those were kind of odd to be on my list, too, but the more I thought of it, the more I think I could totally rock the stuffed squirrel/bottle opener.

Congrats to Todd on the new job. Yippee!!

I basically answered "DO NOT WANT" to almost all of the questions, which basically makes me a complete sociopath.

My #1 job was Graphic Designer.

My top three:

2. Professor
3. Anthropologist

I always wondered why I had the urge to tell my students to climb a rope.

Nice to see so many of us living the dream.

CONGRATS, TODD! And whew, just in time.

I posted my career list for the meme over at my blog. My career is #18, but my college major, Industrial Design, was #1.

I don't understand the order in which they are ranked - if it went "artist, musician, actor" and so on, that would at least make some sense. But going from "archivist" to "actor" seems like quite a leap. I'm also surprised that "gunsmith" is so far down on the list...

Kelly O said...

"Archivist" is reading my dreams, but "actor" is weird because I have so little respect for them. (At least movie actors.)

heehee, yay on the job front. yayayayayay!

as for me, apparently, i'm suited to be a casting director. wonder if that comes with fringe benefits?

Kelly O said...

"Fringe benefits": *wink wink, nudge nudge* Say no more, say no more!

Andrea: Maybe we could combine your funeral business with my taxidermy?

It says I should be a "sports psychology consultant"...and that basically means "yoga teacher."

good thing I started up a friday evening yoga class in our apartment. all are welcome, but you have to get yourself to San Diego. : )
