How we amuse ourselves

The kids stripped to their underwear or diaper — Liam accessorized with red gloves from Nylonthread — and took turns screaming into the fan.

Because that is how we roll.

Hilarious! Your two kids are non-stop silly!

Now I know how I'll spend my days with the twins and toddler. The finer art of fan screaming. That's gotta burn at least 10 minutes of the day, eh?

What do you think kids did for kicks before television? Or radio?

begs the question though, what did kids do before fans?

Yes, electricity is our friend.

back in my day, we made paper fans & took turn fanning each other while the other one yelled herself hoarse. Good times.

Paper fans? Luxury. We used to make our fans out of toiletpaper tubes and bits of dung and we were so weak from hunger and scarlet fever we could barely gasp at the fans before we fainted.

Kids nowdays.

teachable moment, people: learn to sing "blowin' in the wind."

we once sang blowin in the wind until we were so winded and weak from starvation and from having to trudge 10 miles in the snow to get back and home again from school, that we accidentally put an eye out and.....but i digress.
