Thea draws her family

At school about a week before Thanksgiving, Thea's class drew portraits of their families. Here is Thea's:

That's Amy, Heather in the middle, and Thea, who wants to go live with them. At her teacher's urging, she drew the family she does live with on the back:

Todd, me, Thea, and Liam. The boys have short hair, and the girls have long hair and eyelashes.

I'll have to post some of the latest pictures Thea has drawn. We all have dozens of fingers on each hand. It's like we're dandelion people.

I love this stage in drawing where there's just a head and limbs! So cute. I love her dandelion family!

Lately Rosie's been drawing tiny little heads with enormous triangle-dress-bodies and little hands and feet.

I'm stealing this idea & posting some of Rosie's. THANX!

I love how you TOWER over everyone else in the family. Man, that's a tall pedestal you've got there. ;-)

Hmm, interesting observation, Dee!

That is so great on both levels! My daughter would do that all the time, never more so after the youngest lad was born. Her arch nemesis, she likes to say.
