I just got a pair of these for $8. There's also a bunch of Chuck Taylors for under $10, in limited styles and sizes.

Despite having a thing on the site that said "Item ships to canada!" they DON'T SHIP TO CANADA.
ARGH!
Well, I wasn't sure where to put this but...

is a blind woman who trains her own service dogs. She's quite a fascinating character in her own right and I've gifted Thea with a couple of her handiworks because I am sure the dyes used are natural - Bumble gathers them herself - and the yarns are natural from carefully selected sources. Bumble travels literally thousands of miles to purchase her fibers as well as getting them shipped and works in all sorts of weird fibers including buffalo, bear, elk, etc.
You certainly should not feel under any obligation to purchase anything bumble has to offer however, since Bumble describes herself as older than dirt, the toys she makes are - well -nostalgic.
Here's to Fair Trade, grassroots, and things that are made without dehumanizing everyone in the whole chair from raw materials to consumer.
Those are very cute, and cheap so I love it. If you're interested in cute, budget kids' stuff, check out www.thebudgetbambino.com -- it's a spin-off from The Budget Fashionista.
That being said, I'm tagging you for a meme, too. Cheers!
Wow!!!
I went a little nutty buying Converse slips this summer, or I'd have to get myself a pair.
