On Christmas Eve, Thea decorated the fireplace with drawings to make it pretty for Santa.
They were quite lovely, despite being on Post-it notes ...
and the fact that the fireplace is completely fake.

Totally impressed! By the post it notes, certainly, but really by the fireplace!!
Save the post its. Or shoot some close-ups to save. They represent the best and most original art she will produce for some time. Once she is in school and begins drawing stick figures, green trees with red apples and yellow suns with //// marks like everyone else, that inclination toward originality can disappear. And yes, the fireplace is fab.
Man what I would not give to have such a fantantic fireplace as this one!
I like the fireplace, but prefer the post-it floral treatment...it's fabulous
