Xmas recital

The daycare had their annual recital yesterday. Liam had a great time singing carols, but Thea spent the whole time staring ahead stonily with her hands clasped in front of her. At least she did better than the kids who immediately burst into tears when they saw all the parents, poor things.

Here are Thea and her friend recovering from the experience with potato chips and cookies.

They look pretty effectively recovered. Hope you are too (although by now you probably understand that motherhood is chronic . . .) Also very glad to hear Liam was SINGING.

"Motherhood is chronic": truer words were never written, man.

I feel like I could sleep for a year, but things are better than they were this time last week, thanks!

Awww! I love recitals. A has her school recital tomorrow night. I may on the secular side of things, but I hope Christmas concerts never go away. Thea is a doll!

I'd recover with some chips and cookies, too. Lovely photo.
