These are awesome!!
In ten years, the kids will see these and groan "Mom, you save the weirdest JUNK!!! You should have thrown these in the garbage years ago!!!"
And when you say with a stunned look on your face and in the same tones you would use if someone committed an unthinkable sacrilege, "But you made it for me when you were..."
Meanwhile and oddly enough, there are all sorts of people who would commit all sorts of heinous crimes simply to get an "I love you" as pure and simple as expressed by such tokens. You just can't put a price tag on such things.
Ah...parenthood...the greatest gift you can give yourself even if it does make you occasionally crazier than you have ever been before.
A friend of mine once described parenthood as driving a car without headlights full speed down an alley in pitch dark while reassuring all the occupants you know what you are doing.
Definitely worth it but certainly the journey is fraught.
