Nice photo,it reminds me of the time a chickadee landed on my wife's head while we were feeding them in the Broadview hts metro parks reservation on a sundy during the month of January.They have sunday mornings where you can come and hand feed then during Jan and Feb. I just wish I could have taked a pic of that one.
What a couple of cuties.
Weegee's favorite place to perch is on people's heads. Seriously! It puts him in a "dominant" position and he starts feeling very superior. He looks pretty happy up there on Liam's blond tresses. A minute longer and he would have started nesting! Cuties.
Love love love the bird! What kind of bird is Weegee? And how old?

I think Weegee is about 6 years old? Honestly, I have no idea. Nylonthread has had him for ages, I think!
Weegee is a Senegal Parrot (poicephalus family). He's 10; easy to remember for us -- we bought him right after our wedding! Wikipedia sez Senegals have been known to live up to 50 years as pets. He's adorable with me, but HATES Monkeyrotica.
