On my way to a victory garden

Last weekend, some of my favorite friends came over to help me get my garden in order, plans that started weeks ago with the sage advice of Brent and Heather. Nylonthread tilled the land, Don built the box, and the kids played with dirt.

Man, that was a lot of work. I moved over 1000 pounds of material. I'm not sure I've quite recovered yet. But it'll be worth it when I'm able to reap what I've sown, right?

I want to see pix of the first shoots popping up. I bet the produce will taste richer than the store-bought stuff - think about that when your muscles finally heal!
