A friend of mine was asking me which blogging platform I might recommend. I sent him an extended email about different things to consider, one of those emails that you might get and think "Whoa whoa whoa, way too much information," then file away and never read again. So, a few minutes later, I sent him this:
Der hee!
By the way, on the topic of ads, are you aware of the tax deductions you can take if you benefit financially from your blog? Go check it out on Wise Bread. Something to consider.

I love that!
Heh. That's excellent! I wish everyone in my life made flowcharts, they're such a good way of taking a lot of factors into account in a really uncluttered way.
Also, the verification word for my last comment was "brascot," which sounds to me like an elaborately tied bra.
So, since I'm actively figuring out webhosting right now, can you tell me more about godaddy.com and the other one you mentioned?
Several people I know and respect have said that godaddy.com ended up being more trouble than its worth, and they recommend bluehost.com. Thoughts? experiences? cautions?
I'm planning to install WordPress on whatever host server I eventually get, so there's that....

I know a lot of people who recommend them, but personally, I don't like GoDaddy at all. BLEH. I use FatCow, and have used them for eight or nine years now with no complaints.
Was your dork status in jeopardy? Ha!
We use Site5, bought our domains through godaddy. Site5 has managed to screw some things up, but eh - they're human too. Or at least I think so. Hmmm, I should check into that.
