The only people willing to sit through this, I'm sure, will be the people related to us. But here's Thea singing a song she learned in school. She's pointing to a drawing she made that is like the poster her teacher uses to illustrate the song. I'm quite impressed with my little girl!

the Chelsea. (Not really, but she seemed similar when I met her this
morning after she asked me not to shower.)

Can you feel the brand new day?

Taken from the window of my beachfront hotel room in Asbury Park, where Heather and I will celebrate turning 40. The weekend plans include a gluttony of food and drinks in Asbury Park, and then on to NYC for museums, a fancy vegan restaurant, cocktails, and a few nights at the Hotel Chelsea.

Building Museum and lunch at Matchbox with friends

We took the kids to the Building Museum today. It was a lot of fun. Here are the boy-monkeys getting into trouble

Afterward we went out for lunch to one of the better restaurants on the Hill, Matchbox, for sliders and pizza. Mike and I split a bottle of wine and some kalamata olive and prosciutto pizza with ricotta cheese, our favorite.

Apparently there's a lego app for the iPhone. The two versions are just because the optical blending of the small version trips me out. Pointillism is cool. And, yes, I know, this is a crappy excuse for a post after two weeks of silence.
